Geminids Studio is a project by Lex Non Scripta, a multi-media artist, educator, and organizer. Through a queer, trans, working class, SWANA, disabled lens, Lex's creative practice is informed by liberatory politics, collaboration, and community building.
In addition to producing and exhibiting their own work, they're invested in building platforms for other queer and trans artists to showcase their brilliance and have curated shows for the National Queer Arts Festival, organized visual arts workshops and spaces for the Allied Media Conference, and co-founded a number of queer art projects, including Magic Makers: Queer Art/Craft/Healing Fair and AORTA magazine.
Lex is from the shores of occupied Ohlone lands/the San Francisco Bay, currently based in occupied Pocumtuc & Nipmuc lands/Western Massachusetts.
